CHALLENGES
Membership. Thousands of young people from Bongo live in Accra and other cities; but only a few of us have registered as members of the union. Majority have not heard about the union. To get to them and make them show strong interest in the union has not being easy. Members need to visit places and explain the detail purpose of the union to young people as often as possible.
Meeting Place. The union has not gotten a suitable place for meetings yet. Osu Presby School where we meet now, is a temporary venue.
Attendance at Meetings. Attendance to meetings needs to be encouraged. Each individual should endeavour to attend regularly. Members who are too far away from our meeting venue are encouraged to organize their own meetings, if they are a substantial number.
Funds for Projects. We need donations, grants or sponsorships for most of our planned development projects that we are/shall embark upon for the district. We need enough money (funds) for our farming and trading activities. We should pay our dues regularly as well as think of other ways to get money.
